Delivery Wizard came to us as a brand new start-up with an idea. So as a new company, we needed to start from scratch, even with a name!
A Snippet of
The Requirements
Wanting to offer an online delivery price comparison site, we knew we could help develop a functional web application. But before any of that, Delivery Wizard required a comprehensive branding package that reflected their organisation appropriately to begin generating their digital footprint. So, the first step was a logo.

The Initial Stage
So, firstly we needed to establish a business name. So, through chatting with the team and understanding their values, the business became known as Delivery Wizard.
Once we had established a name and a domain name had been purchased, we provided the client with a range of logo concepts with various colour palettes and typographies. Ultimately, we created a fun, unique logo that perfectly represented the company’s tone – so say hello to the Delivery Wizard mascot! But more on him later…
Following the logo creation, we created an in-depth brand guideline document to ensure all parties associated with Delivery Wizard used their brand elements consistently and communicated the values effectively. As we had taken the time to understand Delivery Wizard’s company principles from the outset, we were able to produce guidelines that not only represent their brand but explains their intentions in full.
As a brand new business, Delivery Wizard had no previous visual presence; therefore, we had a lot of creative freedom when putting together graphics and materials to occupy the brand guidelines. Delivery Wizard was receptive to our ideas and took our visual expertise into account, which allowed for a seamless experience in producing their brand identity.
Gilroy
Gilroy is a modern sans serif with a geometric touch. An older brother of the original Qanelas font family. It comes in 20 weights, 10 uprights and its matching italics. Perfectly suited for graphic design and any display use, Gilroy could easily work for web, signage, corporate as well as for editorial design.

Next Steps
As Delivery Wizard’s tone was fun and informal, we wanted this to be apparent from the outset. So, we designed a mascot for Delivery Wizard during the branding design process. As we knew a mascot would be an excellent feature for the brand, we developed a character that would appear across the website.
So, let us introduce to you THE Delivery Wizard. The friendly mischief manager who provides DW with a visual identity. Throughout the website, you will see him. Whether this is in the warehouse with numerous boxes or wearing a headset ready to answer your queries.
With the mascot in place, we now had a style that we could translate across the whole of the website. So, we continued this fun and playful tone throughout the whole website design process.

Custom Build
After signing off the website design, it was then our developer’s job to implement complex API integration. As the core functionality of Delivery Wizard was to simplify delivery, we needed to create a site that was seamless to use.
Therefore through continuous communication with the most popular couriers in the UK, our development team implemented custom code, APIs and data to generate instant results for any combination of searches. Consequently, Delivery Wizard provides user-tailored outcomes for international and UK-based deliveries.
Aside from the price comparison and booking functionality, we also developed a User Dashboard that allowed businesses to monitor dispatches, invoices and labels for specific deliveries. This enabled them to offer a personalised service for domestic and commercial deliveries.
Overall, we helped Delivery Wizard develop its whole digital identity. From the beginnings of the business, assisting with a name, to their brand identity and complex and bespoke development.
