sales executive

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £18,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Location: Peterborough Office (not remote)

We are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude to join our new sales team. Working closely with our design and marketing teams, this person will identify new sale opportunities as well as ways to maximise sales with existing clients. Although an office-based job, the role will also be field-based visiting existing clients and targeting new customers to help us continue to grow the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPI’s, regularly monitoring your business plans to make sure this is achieved.
  • Arrange meetings with potential clients to demonstrate Geek Designs services and the value of the services to their business.
  • Manage new and existing client relationships on behalf of Geek Designs. Build and maintain a positive working relationship with our clients and their staff.
  • Work within an agreed budget to maximise sales activities and opportunities.
  • Keep detailed records of all contacts and leads in the company’s CRM.
  • Plan work schedules and discuss regularly with the Directors.
  • Work alongside different teams within the agency to help bring in new clients.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technical changes by the company, and interpret, present and discuss these changes to our clients.
  • Analyse sales data to improve results and make sure resources are effectively allocated.
  • Monitor competitor activity and competitors’ products and services.
  • Keep up to date with new developments in the digital industry, anticipate potential negative and positive impacts on our client’s businesses and adapt their strategy accordingly.
  • Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to potential clients.
  • Attending networking events on behalf of Geek Designs.
  • Making outbound sales calls to hot warm qualified leads.
  • Reporting internally and externally.
  • Arranging, managing and attending new client meetings in and out of the office.
  • Undertaking the necessary administrative tasks for the role.

SALARY

The package will be industry competitive and based on experience. Commissions/bonuses may be paid subject to the achievement of individual and/or team targets and KPI’s.

EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate must be confident and self-motivated with previous sales experience and possess the ability to communicate clearly and build relationships that develop long-term sales opportunities. Previous experience in outbound B2B sales is essential, experience selling within design/digital/marketing services and have a genuine passion for the creative industry.
