Street Arts Hire is a team of artists, musicians, and free thinkers dedicated to their art forms and our collective vision of high-quality public art and creative experiences for everyone. After establishing themselves in Peterborough, Street Arts Hire needed a drastic redesign to elevate their brand in line with their business growth.
A Snippet of
the brief
The website’s goal was to improve the user experience of Street Arts Hire’s website from a simple information-based website to a place where users can interact with the team’s work. As the current site wasn’t visual, we felt a need to give the fantastic artwork its time to shine. Therefore a core push on the website was to ensure it was as visually engaging as possible.

Project Process
The Initial Stage
Although Street Arts Hire was an already established business, we took this opportunity to officially define a colour palette. So, to tie in with the brand’s image and personality, we keep colour simple yet striking. Once we had this in place, we had total creative freedom over the website’s new appearance.
To create a rememberable experience and to showcase the artwork in all its glory, our design team took their time creating seamless interactive experiences and animations. From a hero slider that shows recent projects to a team page that gives each artist a dedicated section, the redesign accelerated Street Arts Hire into the modern era.
DIN CONDENSED
Din Condensed Font is belonging to the Geometric Sans-serif typeface family that was designed by Tagir Safayev. Due to the design’s legibility and uncomplicated, unadorned design, it has come to be famous for popular motive use in signage and shows variations.
Project Process
Device Responsive
As a result of analysing Street Arts Hire’s website data, we knew that the majority of their website traffic was coming from social media and news articles, and these were viewing the website on mobile devices. Therefore, we designed mobile-friendly versions of the site ready to be developed throughout the design process.
Not only did this guarantee users the same experience regardless of which device they were viewing the website on, but it met Google’s Core Web Vital guidelines, which are significantly important.

Bespoke Development
Our development team implemented an interactive map to add additional functionality to the website. The map allows users to view artwork based on locations from across the country. Once a site is selected, more information is displayed. Again, another bespoke feature that enables users to interact with the website.
